The Village, however, has worked with providers to set up local vaccination events, which are advertised as scheduled through E-Glenview and on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Please note: As a municipality, the Village of Glenview does not have a primary role in the COVID-19 vaccination process. Since December 16, 2020, vaccinations for COVID-19 in suburban Cook County, including Glenview, were being rolled out in phases by the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) based on national guidance. The FDA has granted Emergency Use Authorization of the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines. Insured persons must bring their insurance cards. Rapid PCR testing is available at the Flick Park Field House testing location (3600 Glenview Road) open seven days a week through December 31, 2021. Testing is currently available in a variety of places including local pharmacies, IDPH mobile/community-based testing sites, and come primary care providers. All COVID-19 testing and related services must be free of charge to Illinois residents, regardless of insurance or immigration status.
